From your front window
try to identify the busy birds nesting around the owner’s garden. Eagles, humming birds and the notorious Raven are just a few that will entice you out on the deck.
An early morning walk at Halibut Point Beach, less than 5 minutes away, and Magic Island may afford you glimpses of martin, a small ferret like animal as it bounces and plays on the beach, or the ethereal grace of the Great Blue Heron as it glides by. Bring a bucket and who knows what you might find in the tide pools.
Sea and Ski Vacation Rental is just a short four miles from downtown, and right beside one of many bus stops located around Sitka. It's also less than a mile from Sitka's Sea Mountain Golf Course, known for its scenic, but challenging course.
