Stay at Mountain Laurel Ridge

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Laurel Ridge.Very peaceful and quiet. The kids enjoyed the hot tub so much! The only suggestion I have is you need to replace or buy some kind of topper for the bed in the bedroom on the right when you walk in the cabin. It is hard, not very comfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I came to the Smoky Mountains for a Jeep event at Jeepism in Townsend, TN. For the first four days of our trip we stayed in Townsend, but the last four was just my husband and I. We have stayed in Debbie's rentals prior and had such a great time and amazing treatment as a customer from Debbie. We couldn't wait to rent from her again. Due to us checking out in Townsend at 10am. We needed something to do. I messaged Debbie and asked if it would be okay for us to check in early. She was very nice in allowing us to come check in earlier. When we got there I wasn't able to get the lock to work, Debbie promptly replied to my text and helped me to get into the cabin. It was beautiful. Someone had left the fireplace on so I had to message Debbie again. She talked me through how to shut the gas off to the fireplace and offered to send maintenance over if needed... We did not... We got it turned off and opened the windows for the cabin to air out. The water in this part of the mountain is iron water which doesn't sit pretty in a hot tub. Debbie called Ella and she came and drained the Hot tub and scrubbed it clean... She re-filled it and got it all ready for us. Unfortunately, that weekend the Iron water beat the chemicals which was okay as my husband and I are not big Hot tub fans regardless. The rooms were beautiful, it was very nice to have two rooms with a bathroom in each room... The seclusion was so peaceful... Sitting on the back deck reading and enjoying God's great beauty was just the serenity that we needed. We cannot wait to come back again and love renting from Debbie. She treats us well and works with us on dates and times. She and her staff go above and beyond. Thank you for an amazing vacation stay...

Had a wonderful time!

We had a great time at Mount Laurel Ridge. There were a few things though.....the one mattress needs replaced....it was very worn out. The other is there really should be screen doors on both doors so if someone doesn't want to run the air they can have the doors open and get a awesome breeze and fresh air. The water was pretty nasty, we bought gallons of water for the coffee and bottled water for drinking. Yes I know it is well water but my daughter in law ruined a pair of her shorts because of the water. Other than those few things we had a wonderful time. It took a day or so to find our way around and had a few problems getting into the property but nothing that Deb couldn't handle for us. Thank you so much! Family Summer Getaway

We found the cabin to be an excellent value. The location was good, and it is within easy driving distance to the Cosby hiking trails in the National Park as well as the town of Newport, TN. The cabin was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the view, the hot tub, the front porch swing, and spending time together in the Great Smoky Mountains. Thank you, The Jackson Family Bluffton, SC

4.75 rating

Everything was great except for the hot tub. It was nasty. No way anyone could use it safely. We would not have used it anyway but it needs serious attention before anyone uses it. Black inside and the water is brown. Very unsantitary.

Hello

It was a great cabin for the price ! We loved the remote area the cabin was in, and best , of course, the hot tub. Door locks need to be sprayed with WD-40 . We had a hard time getting into the cabin.
