Its been few years since we last stayed at the Aframe and we can tell how the facility is now showing major ware and tare. We were fortunate enough to be able to book all 4 units on the same weekend and able to compare the condition of each unit. Some noticeable issues: ———— Good morning, Thank you for the review. We have corrected the below issues with a general contractor. This was previously scheduled to repair FV4 bathroom dry wall. We did not realize there was a leak in the overhead ceiling, but that was corrected by a local contractor as well. We did not know about the overhead kitchen light, that was corrected and the fire alarm pull station was reattached with a wooden support to prevent the screws coming off from the drywall. MWR Officer ————— Lakeview 2, the stove light fell from the slot and it's hard to tell if it's on or off. Could be safety issue? Lakeview 1: fire alarm pull is dangling from the wall, held by the alarm wires. Forrest View 4, bathroom ceiling has a leak. Water is landing between the tub and the toilet. Lights in General: some of the bulbs are burnt out and some are missing. The space is dark particularly at night time. Caulking and seals around the bathrooms are falling apart/ coming off. Potential area for mold? If all possible, I think all 4 units should be looked at by a general contractor and have the space repaired and painted properly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and CG personnel were great!

What a great location for skiing and other activities around the lake. When we arrived there were no towels in the unit but the base staff took care of that right away. Temps got into the single digits at night and the two electric wall heaters were not enough to keep up. The one in the bedroom was so loud we turned it off at night. I believe you have heard this before. There is one sheet and one blanket on the queen bed. There were no extra blankets so we took one off the bunkbeds and survived. Thanks again. *********** Thank you for the review. We will address the wall heater noise with replacing the unit this week. Noted on the towels. An additional order was recently replaced, but it’s an ongoing issue coming out of COVID with supply cost. We have been slowly replacing inventory and should be up to full speed again soon. I’m glad the crew was able to facilitate the request though from inventory on-hand. Understand about additional blankets. Taking for action today. Will be resolved this week. Top floor cabin with a peek-a poo lake view, cabin was quiet, spacious and furnished with good quality furniture. Bathroom is due for some minor TLC, the bedroom heater's noise level could be an issue for light sleeper. Bring cooking oil and hair dryer if you plan to use it. Fast check-in by friendly staffs and will return for future stay. - 7/31/22: Thank you for the review. We are currently working on renovation efforts. The cabins are functional if basic, but the location is perfect, just a few minutes from Northstar, Palisades, and Homewood. There's also lake access just a few meters outside of the cabin. The Coast Guard crew who manage the cabin are very helpful.

Spacious and pretty clean but felt like a lot of dust/allergens. We didn’t get enough towels upon arrival. Otherwise it was great. ------- Good Evening, We just placed a large towel order and will have this issue corrected this week (2/7). We do a deep clean every 6-months, but we will do a deep clean of the rugs later this month to try and mitigate it. Thank you for your feedback. - A-Frame Manager

My kids enjoy A-Frames at Lake Tahoe. I would book this place again. Please update the latch to patio. It was hard to get it close. The door to the room was hard to close too. The door doesn't aligning to the frame. Add more parking space per unit. Please provide dish sponge if you want us to watch dishes. Please provide the map of the dumpster if you want us to take the trash out. Please label the A-Frames Unit number outside the building. Overall, for the price, I would do it again. Thank you. - Thank you for the review. Door issue has been corrected. Sponge has been provided. Crew should be giving an explanation of what dumpster to use. We just ordered the A-Frame signage for outdoors to better identify the units. Crew will be labeling parking spots this weekend; additional parking is in the grass at the unit if needed. Excellent stay. Rustic A-Frame upper deck. Station duty was extremely helpful. Great location on Lake Tahoe to the friendly city of Tahoe City, hiking and of course the lake itself. Very relaxing. Reservation were prompt with good communications.

We stayed in Forest View 3. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking, utensils, plates, cups, etc. Toaster and coffee maker were great. The propane grill on the deck was a nice touch, and it was clean with propane in the tank. Grilling tools were included. Furnishings are simple but clean and comfortable. The A Frames are a great place to stay and exceeded my expectations. I look forward to staying there again.

Very friendly crew that was attentive and efficient. Cabins were comfortable and reasonably priced. Beautiful place. Would absolutely recommend.

Our stay was awesome, the staff was very accommodating and professional. We will definitely go back soon!! Thanks to the entire Station Staff!!
