Spacious cabin with super view of Lake Tahoe and so reasonable.

Great location, comfortable accommodation. Also, super flexible when we wanted to leave early to get ahead of a coming storm. Treasure for the USCG and DOD family.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview 1 very much. It was quiet and serene and area is beautiful. National guard members were so nice and helpful. We thank you their service for community and our country. Sincerely, Susanne and family

Both cabins are located in a safe & quiet location with partial lake view from the cabin. However, within walking distance, Visitor can walk on a pier with magnificent Mountain View & lake view at sunset. This pier (bridge) is very romantic for couple to spend time at this location. Both cabins were clean & provides essential needs for daily usage. Reservation, check in & check out was a breeze. Colt. Fairchild was super supportive & extremely helpful when I have questions regarding my reservations. Colt. Fairchild attention for emails correspondence is impeccable, no time was wAsted. Check in & check out staff were nice & friendly. All in all, I’d love to return & stay at these cabin again in the near future. Thanks to all staff for provided us with a memorable times at these cabins.

Lakeview 1 was outstanding, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The staff was great and more than accommodating.

This location is great for either winter or summer relaxation in the mountains and by the water. The units were available when advertised, and because we rented both the top and bottom of Lakeside A-Frame, we had the whole place to ourselves. 10 beds (2 queen, 4 bunk beds) provided for everyone to have a bed and the space was well equipped and furnished. The floors near the tubs are beginning to rot away with water spillage, but they know about it and have plans to renovate. The satellite and WIFI are good, but you don’t need them to get out and visit the community park next door, as well as the pier to walk out and see the sun rise or set on the lake. Beautiful. The Seaman were very helpful and courteous. The private gated entrance provides security. Definitely plan on visiting again.

My wife and I have stayed at the A-frames on USCG Station Lake Tahoe three times now and each time we have been impressed by the professional and courteous team at the station. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and are the best reprieve that we have had in a long time!

We stayed at the A frame and these places are AWESOME, can't wait to come back. The crew of Station Tahoe were pleasant and extremely cordial in conversation in passing. Great Job USCG Sta Lake Tahoe!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeview 1 on the Coast Guard base. The facility was great. It was clean and had everything we needed. Lake Tahoe is a wonderful place to visit, so much to do and see. We plan to return sometime, Jay and Linda

I stayed here 4-days in April, it was a very wonderful experience. The U.S. Coast Guardsmen who ran the place were very friendly and helpful. The scenery is breath taking, the air is clean and the drinking water is incredibly pure to the taste. The cabins are clean and well equipped. The beds in the cabins are comfortable, there are over-stuffed chairs in the living room and the dinning table and chairs have a rustic look to them. These cabins are very popular among veterans and military personnel, and my only disappointment was that I could not extend my stay beyond what I had reserved because others who had reservations were coming in to stay the same day my reservation was up. I definitely recommend these cabins and look forward to returning to them for another stay in the near future.

We had another great stay. Although, I didn’t get a mint on my pillow or post skiing massage as requested. :) It’s too bad the Coast Guard doesn’t provide more units like this in highly desired locations like this for our people to utilize.
