Good morning, our cabin had some maintenance issues but the service members on duty were very prompt in responding and considerate. Bravo Zulu to them!!!!!! My only issue is the cabin needs a thorough cleaning. There was a lot of "stuff" and dirt under the couch and bed. We found mouse poop in kitchen drawers. My family stayed here for 4 nights, January 2023. We had a delightful time. The Coast Guard men & women were very helpful with whatever we needed. They need to find a better cleaning company, as the place was not clean, particularly, all the floors, rugs & carpet. We will stay here again despite this, as it’s a great little place for the price. - - - - - 1/16/23: thank you for the feedback, we will look into the cleanliness issue with the floors and do our best to correct the issue. - MWR Officer

Enjoyed our stay! Beds were comfortable, cabin was Cozy! View of the lake was stunning. If any negatives it would be, faucet in bathtub was workable but basically broken, stove top was crooked so everything you cooked went in that direction, no kitchen towels but the bathroom towels were about the same size:) Small things that really didn't matter much in the scheme of things. These Cabins are great! I look forward to staying again in the summer months!

Been coming here for more than twenty years and it’s still a fabulous Tahoe getaway! Enjoyed the new temperpedic mattresses and the new WiFi access. Always feel so privileged to be able to access this lovely facility. The lack of population density on Tahoes shores is a rare luxury. The crew always makes me feel welcome and secure.

Had a great time! Everything was clean and in good order. would definitely go back and highly recommend.

More silverware, bowls, plates etc. are needed. It there is room for 6 to sleep there, then there should be at least 6 of everything. Also, dish towels and pot holders are needed. I did like that trash bags and paper towels were provided. Overall, it was a really outstanding stay!!!

You can’t beat the location of the Coast Guard A-Frames. Lake access, and right next door to a park. The cabins are basic, but well equipped with comfortable beds and basic kitchen tools. Check in was easy, and we even got some good restaurant advice.

Skip the weekend, take the week off and stay at the Aframes! I dig the location, far enough from town, yet close enough to grab supplies or a coffee. The convenience of the public boat launch right next door is awesome. The outdoor gym is cool and the indoor one is fully loaded! The folks that are stationed there have the greatest assignment location and they are all wonderful people. Very helpful! The cabins are cabins... but they are comfy and clean. I’d plan on bringing your own sheets and towels. Also bring some stuff to do while on the lake... beach chairs, inflatable rafts/toys, kayaks, paddle boards or even a boat... the private beach is ok, but people still cut through, so don’t leave your stuff out there. I had a great time... unfortunately there was a lot of smoke that blew in from the many fires in CA 2020 and we cut our trip short due to bad air. We will be back for sure! Can't beat the price! Great location, our room had more than enough space. The kitchen had all the utensils needed. a big plus was they have a propane grill on our patio and they also supply the propane! Must visit!

I wish I had known about this place earlier. Beautiful location and a great price. Had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for a family looking for an inexpensive Tahoe get away!

This is the second year we have enjoyed staying at the Coast Guard cabin. We enjoyed ourselves as much this time as last time. Unfortunately, we had to call on a Coast Guard member on watch to fix the tub spout. He did so with effective-efficiency and was quite pleasant to speak to. Sorry, I don’t know his name, but he represents his service well. The kitchen in our cabin was ok, but the oven door is crammed too close to the wall. I don’t know if that can be addressed somehow. Everything else went smoothly, so we do appreciate the availability of the cabins. Thank you,

We stayed here after Christmas on holiday & it was fantastic. We have 3 kids & had loads of room for everyone. The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen had plenty of utensils, pots, pans & dishes for our family. We loved every moment & can’t wait to go back!
