History...with some interesting surprises! ;)

Great cabin - you can say this is one-of-a-kind. It literally is sitting right on top of the river and we could hear it all day and all night. We did see a bear in the driveway the first day. We really liked the fireplace and the different antiques. Kitchen was well furnished with plenty of stuff to cook. The cabin was quite private and very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, but there was - you might say - a few strange occurrences while we stayed. For example, there is a little wooden wagon that holds blankets that is situated by the TV cabinet. Two out of three mornings, we awoke to find it over by the wooden latch front door (though the door was still closed). That's across the room. Very odd. Nothing scary at all, just amusing. We hope to come back soon!

Great little Cabin on the creek

This is the perfect cabin to stay in while visiting East Tennessee, The communication with owner and property manager were top notch. If you want new this is not for you. If you want peace of history, relaxing on the screen porch overlooking the running water, sitting in the hot tub or the smell and feel of the wood burning fireplace this is the place. Thanks so much for allowing us the opportunity to have a little quiet and relaxing time in the Cabin On Roaring Fork.

Roaring Fork cabin is great

Our stay at the Cabin on Roaring Fork was great. The people was outstanding to work with. The cabin was excellent. The setting was superb. It was close to town, but it seemed secluded. The sounds of the river was so calming and the scenery was excellent. My children and I truly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be looking to stay here again. We do hope there is a hammock on the deck next time. We recommend this place very much to everyone. You will enjoy it.

April 2014

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Cabin on Roaring Fork so very much. It was his first time to Gatlinburg and my first stay in a cabin there. As it was our first anniversary, we wanted the trip to be special and your cabin made it so. He was so happy there, he even mentioned he wished it was for sale. We didn't want to leave. The feel of the old cabin is rich with history and made us feel at home. The welcoming smell of the fireplace when you first enter was wonderful. It was private and so comfortable. I was really amazed at all the kitchenware that was available. Not only dishes and the basics, but unexpected items like cutting boards and measuring spoons too! Would love to stay again in the future. Will recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so special.
